Siva Sankaran is an enthusiastic and compassionate physical therapist with extensive clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics and skills in clinical reasoning and manual therapy. He joined Spine Team Texas in January 2022 after working with ATI Physical Therapy in Lewisville, TX and spending several years with the Henry Ford Health System in Dearborn, MI. He also worked at outpatient rehab clinics treating musculoskeletal conditions in orthopedic, sports injury and geriatric clients.
Siva completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and his Bachelor of Physical Therapy from the University of Madras in Chennai, India. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists, American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association.
Siva is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and he is a Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
In addition to being a skilled Physical Therapist, Siva has a great passion for teaching and mentoring. He served as a proctor at Wayne State University from 2017 to 2019 and continues to act as a clinical instructor, mentor and pain neuroscience educator.
