Individualized Treatment Plans
At Spine Team Texas, we believe no two patients are alike. That's why our physicians individually assess each case of back and neck pain to determine the most effective, customized treatment plan. We do this by hosting weekly multi-disciplinary spine conferences led by our team of expert physicians.
Here we openly discuss our most challenging cases by pooling our various expertise and skills to assess the best possible treatment method for each patient. Our specialists truly work as a team, involving fellowship-trained spine surgeons and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, nurses and X-ray technicians to diagnose and treat back and neck pain.
Even though we strive to treat your condition and pain with less invasive procedures, surgery may be necessary as a last resort if all previous treatments fail to provide comfort.
Many Spine Specialties Under One Roof
To assess your overall physical health, including your state of flexibility, muscular fitness and current bone and nerve condition, we can order a series of diagnostic procedures such as skeletal X-rays, MRI or CT scans, electromyography, bone scans and discography. We have in-house capability to provide X-rays and electromyography (EMG), and can refer you to the best outside resources for other types of diagnostic testing (CT scans and MRIs).Learn More
Acute and Chronic Spine Pain Management
Since most back pain is muscle-related, the specialty of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) is a widely elected option in treating back and neck pain. At Spine Team Texas, a PMR physician will collaborate with our spine-focused physical therapists, using exercise as the key ingredient to recovery along with other non-surgical treatment methods.Learn More
Experts in physical therapy, exercise for rehabilitation and musculoskeletal diagnostics, our physical therapists blend hands-on care with personalized movements and exercises that strengthen the back and improve flexibility.
