Diagnostic Testing

Spine Team Texas offers on-site diagnostic testing in many circumstances. A diagnostic procedure is an examination to identify an individual’s specific areas of weakness and strength in order determine a condition, disease or illness.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

This scan lets doctors see inside your body without using radiation. Instead, MRIs use magnets and radio waves. An MRI shows clear views of your soft tissues. It can show cancer and other problems. If we need this test to assess your condition we’ll send you to one of our preferred diagnostics partners so that we get the best insights into your condition.

X-Ray

An X-ray is a quick, painless test that produces images of the structures inside your body — particularly your bones. If we need this test to assess your condition, we have an onsite X-ray suite where our technician can collect the films needed for our evaluation of your condition.

Computerized Tomography (CT) Scan

This scan lets doctors see inside your body by taking x-ray images from many angles. These are combined to show clear cross-section slices of parts of your body. A CT scan shows much more than a typical x-ray. It can show cancer and other problems. If we need this test to assess your condition we’ll send you to one of our preferred diagnostics partners so that we get the best insights into your condition.

Electromyography (EMG)

This is a test of your muscles and nerves. It usually has two parts. One is a nerve conduction study. The second part is a needle electromyogram. The results can help your doctor find problems linked to certain disorders or conditions. If we need this test to assess your condition, we have several physicians on staff who are experts in conducting these tests. We can preform these tests at any of our clinic locations.
