Meet Dr. Tijmes
Dr. Steven Tijmes is a dedicated medical professional with a strong background in pain management and rehabilitation. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Masters in Medical Science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Tijmes excelled during his four-year residency at Memorial Healthcare System in Florida, gaining expertise in pain management, musculoskeletal care, and advanced injection techniques.
He continued to advance his knowledge and skills by completing a prestigious Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Louisiana State University. During this fellowship, which he completed in July 2023, he gained expertise in advanced interventional techniques, including spinal cord stimulator implantation, kyphoplasty, intrathecal drug delivery system implantation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and Vertiflex procedures.
In addition to his medical career, Dr. Tijmes leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities like hiking, strength training, biking, and running. He is also an avid traveler and a connoisseur of diverse cuisines, and he finds relaxation in reading.
