What is Lumbar Radiculopathy?

Lumbar radiculopathy, often referred to as sciatica, occurs when a nerve in the lower back is compressed or irritated. This can cause pain, numbness, or weakness that radiates down the leg. Treatments may include medications, physical therapy, or epidural steroid injections.

At Spine Team Texas, we use detailed imaging and diagnostic testing to pinpoint the source of the pain and deliver targeted relief through advanced, nonsurgical procedures.
